a story that just popped into my head the other day...
the deer is a young man named Fingal Stonebrooke, born in the northlands and cursed to roam the land as a deer at night and a human during the day. in his human form he is a poacher, awkward right? and for the past few years he has been trying to hunt down a lone wolf in the lowland area.
the wolf, unknown to him, is actually a young woman named Raine Fleetwolfe, a local bar maid who, when the sun rises every morning, turns into the wolf. they have never met before, except when one is the animal and the other is human.
but they were meant to be together.
